Educational Drumming
What would it be like to learn a new skill?
What if you could perform in front of a group of people?
Educational drumming is designed to teach the different aspects of drumming to all ages and abilities. As every group learns together they will also be developing a strong community that empowers individuals and strengthens leadership skills.
What will happen?
Everyone will be provided with an African drum or a percussion instrument. The whole group will experience a musical adventure that will include history, technique and music. Educational drumming will also teach creativity, communication skills, leadership, social skills, self-esteem, coordination, and be extremely FUN! This interactive experience is unique and amazing to be a part of. Many groups may have the opportunity to perform what they have learned, intensifying their experience.

Let's All Drum can work with any size group. We have three types of programs, an introductory program, a day program, or a longer residency program.
- The introductory program is one hour and introduces the participants to drumming and the benefits of music.
- The day program allows every student and teacher the opportunity to participate in a rhythmic event throughout multiple one hour sessions. This program is a great activity to build community and school pride.
- The residency program is incorporated into multiple weeks or the school year. It includes multiple sessions weekly or bi-weekly. This program builds on itself and allows the participants to learn a new skill and enjoy the full benefits of drumming.
